TV debut for fishmongers
Steve Freeman and Conrad Fielding from Don Jones Fish in Cornhill recently starred in BBC 2's Stately Suppers with James Martin (centre).
The chef cooked a meal at Cothay Manor in Greenham using local produce for his dishes.
The award-winning fishmongers were approached by the production company a few months ago and asked to supply fresh seafood for the programme.
Steve said: "We were pleased to get involved with the programme and enjoyed meeting James.
They filmed early in the morning before we opened and we had to look awake like it was the middle of the day!"
Steve appeared on the show giving tips and advice on types of fish and local produce.
The shop supplied salmon and mussels for the dish in champagne sauce cooked by James Martin.
